Celine Dion is an amazing singer, it's just atrocious that Rolling Stone did not include her on their best singers list.

for those who didn't know Celine Dion sang my heart will go on in ONE TAKE, . they did a demo song and took her vocals and built the instrument around it. so the soundtrack we hear is her one take demo at the song

You know you've struck gold when your Oscar-winning song becomes the anthem of your entire company. "When Yo Wish Upon A Star" and all the Disney songs on this list for that matter, are absolutely brilliant and beautiful. Still, I can't deny that "Over The Rainbow" really deserves the top spot for just how much it contribute's to _The Wizard of Oz's_ narrative.

I’m disappointed “When You Believe” from “The Prince of Egypt” didn’t make it onto the list. It’s an extremely beautiful song that was not only performed by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey in the end credits, but also by numerous other artists, including Celtic Woman, which was got me into the song, and has also helped me through extremely difficult times throughout my life.

I haven't finished watching the video yet, but wanted to say that when my late husband of 34 years died in 2020, Into The West was my comfort song. I played it at least a hundred times while grieving and crying. I have remarried, am happy these days and haven't heard the song in months, but it brought tears to my eyes and goosebumps. It will always remain a special song to me.

My favorite fact about My Heart Will Go On, was that when they pitched the idea of the song to Celine, she was apprehensive about singing it at first. She said it was intimidating to be the only song with lyrics in the entire main soundtrack of such an enormous film. Her husband eventually convinced her, so she recorded the demo. Before she recorded, they showed her the movie, and had her record the song directly after watching it. She said in an interview once, years ago, that she remembers walking into the studio to record, still crying, and recorded it in one take. ICON. (I'm sure it was probably just a portion of it just to get an idea as to the mood and nature of the film - though I suppose it may have been the full film)

Indian is not a language, and the song Jai Ho, is written in four different languages. Here is what languages Jai Ho, is written in:
The lyrics to "Jai Ho" were written by Gulzar and are a combination of Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi. Lyrics in Spanish are also included in the song "to go along with his [Rahman] Latin American touch of music". According to the India-EU Film Initiative, this inclusion "really makes the song quite unique and international". Of the three singers credited, Sukhwinder Singh is the principal vocalist. Vijay Prakash sang the portion with the words "Jai Ho", which takes a high pitch at numerous junctures of the song. Mahalakshmi Iyer sang the Hindi words between the "Jai Ho" chants and the portions of the verses not sung by Singh. Tanvi Shah sang and wrote the song's Spanish words.

I remember going to see Titanic when it was in theaters the first time and the theater was packed, every seat taken and it was one of the bigger theaters. During the movie and by the end it was such a compelling and amazing told story, weaving romance and tragedy, excitement and sadness, that you could literally hear a pen drop had it done so. Everyone in the theater was enthralled by it. The only tike I've ever been to a movie at a theater and it being packed and no one making a sound. It was beyond amazing to experience this first hand

The Rainbow Connection should’ve won an Oscar. Imo. I was listening to it on the way home and I was reminded of how beautiful it was!😇 In my opinion, it’s one of the top 100 songs ever written. Paul Williams is a genius. Nuff said.

It’s enshrined in the Library of Congress as we speak, it deserves an honorary Oscar.

Also I will say that Philadelphia is one of my favourite movies of all time & Springsteen deserved the Oscar!

Prior to getting to your end of this video I was expecting Celine to top this list but after seeing the #1, I don’t mind she placed second. That top spot is one for the history books and during a time in US history, it served as more than a character arc for the character. Well worth it even after over 100 years
