I would have asked her "If it's not YOUR hair then can you explain how you THINK a ball of hair got in your stomach?" The WAY she answered would have given them a clue.

Probs to the makeup team, her daughter has a good "chemo" face. Fallen in cheeks and eyes also somehow blaoted and no hair, anywhere. I looked the same, awesome job. Don't know about the rest of the show but this just looks very well made

I wonder if there was some kind of motherly instinct in eating the hair. Hear me out, but it's probably related to some obscure need to protect the child from predators because of bad health and sickness. Something really early on, but still dangerous. Most animals would abandon their sickly though. Just a theory.

Why in the world would they perform a laparotomy if they don't know what they are dealing with and not a gastroscopy first?? This is just crazy, it is one of the most invasive procedures, the patient will have a rather big risk of complications, from wound infection over peritonitis to sepsis. I know it is just a show but that is a bit insane:D

Saw the hair ball, had my gag reflex go twice. No actual vomit, but disgusting all the same. Happens when I have to pick up hair clogging the shower drain. Absolutely disgusting and one of the few things I refuse to touch
