New Opel Astra: Designed in Germany

With its fresh color and trim design, the new Astra is a bold statement. The German precision applied to its design and the distinctive elements make the new Astra step out of line.

The next-gen Astra underlines the new look of Opel. Its bright yellow signals the brand's innovative strength and positions the Astra as benchmark in the compact class segment. More modern and courageous in appearance, executed with the utmost attention to detail. With the fully digital Pure Panel a leap in time has taken place also in the interior of the new generation Astra.

The Color & Trim team at Opel’s design center chooses which colors and materials are going to be used in a model. As part of this process, they have to factor in every tiny detail as to how the colors and materials work together. Watch Color & Trim designer Ilka Höbermann explain what makes the new Astra step out of line from a design perspective.

Filming was carried out in compliance with the health rules and barrier measures in force in the country. Fuel consumption Astra Hybrid (weighted, combined): 1,1-1,0 l/100 km and 15,1-14,2 kWh electricity/100 km; CO2 emissions (combined): 26-22 g/km.

New Astra looks good. A true Opel design, I especially like the hood, it reminds me of my Opel Vectra C.
But the back looks exactly like a Golf 8, with the taillights and the letters...

Elegant and sharp exterior styling, doing away with the blandness of past years. A nice nod to past Opels, too, with some retro elements. The front has some 70's Rekord D/Commodore B sharknose vibes, and the rear-door quarter window area definitely bears a strong resemblance to the four-door Opel Rekord E (1978) and also the Kadett of the same era. Nice!

Opel is, as far as i know, a french company, so it is a french design, reflected in this elegant design, only french are capable of, chapeau.

Non sono solita lasciare recensioni negative, ma non mi lasciate altra strada. Ho una Opel Crossland X Ultimate con 40.000 km. Più volte mi ha lasciata a piedi a causa di un problema ai cilindri e al sensore battito. Più volte sono stata in officina a cambiare i pezzi (spendendo in totale una cifra non indifferente) e non risolvendo MAI il problema. Una volta sostituiti i pezzi, passano 5-6 mesi e l'auto si ferma nuovamente. Al momento l'auto è in officina Opel, ferma. Attendo da 10 giorni i soliti pezzi di ricambio per poterla utilizzare nuovamente e ogni giorno mi viene detto "domani arrivano", senza che poi effettivamente arrivi un bel niente. Senza che mi venga suggerita una soluzione alternativa al disagio che sto provando, senza che sia mai disponibile un'auto sostitutiva - anche solo per qualche giorno. Mi invitano a noleggiare un veicolo da un altro fornitore o ad attendere che finalmente il camion che risulta essere "in consegna" da giorni faccia finalmente capolino alle porte dell'officina. Volete un consiglio da amica? NON COMPRATE OPEL. Assistenza, officina e auto non sono stati all'altezza della fiducia che ho riposto nel brand e del prezzo che ho pagato. Una delusione.
