The new Astra is manufactured at our Rüsselsheim headquarters. Accompany plant manager Michael Lewald into a new era of electric vehicle production at the heart of Opel.

Rüsselsheim, the home of Opel, is the proud birthplace of the new Opel Astra. Manufacturing the new Astra was no ordinary task for the Rüsselsheim production team. Driven to ensure the highest quality standards the result is a matter of great pride for us at Opel.

The Astra is executed with the utmost precision down to the smallest detail. Designed, developed and manufactured in Germany - this is the new Opel Astra.

I'm a Opel fan, just one thing, vw has been releasing petrol performance models one after the other, When last did Opel release performance orientated cars, Opel was known for its brute performance, we need a few performance Opels to properly rival VW please.
