The car looks very nice, but I'm quite disappointed with the powertrain, because I was hoping for a bit more tweaked version of it (or maybe hot pure electric version). I'm affraid 225 hp isn't enough for a sporty version (you can buy regular 308 with it). 250 hp powertrain would fit it perfectly for fwd, and 300 hp for awd version.

Hello Opel, will years ago i used to see an excellent work from Opel specially the Astra GTC and the OPC i used to hear amount of horsepower not only 225 for an electric sporty car! This so disappointed. When i saw the advertisement for the GSE i thought i will see 300HP with AWD and 260 for the front-wheel.
And i hope the Insignia will has something like the OPC version cuz it was an rocket.
I wish one day Opel will bring us what we used to see and drive.

I'm skeptical If this is gonna make it against rival 1.6 lit turbocharged hybrids. If this was a corsa platform it may had better odds. Great start nonetheless, I hope to see more motorsports development from you like the old days, so we can also enjoy it in your road cars.

Are the figures doing the rounds correct? 0-60 in approx 7.5sec, 222bhp and a £40k approx price tag ( Autocar ). Because if they are this isn't going to sell. It's way overpriced and not a successor to VXR

Danke Für das Tolle Video ein echt schönes Auto, aber leider mal wieder nur Werbung für Auto das seit über ein Jahr von Opel verkauft wird aber noch kein einziger wurde an eine Kunden bis heute übergeben! Schöne wäre es mal von Opel ein verbindliche statement bezüglich der Auslieferung der verkauften Sports Tourer zu erhalten anstatt diese Ständige Werbung . Ich persönlich warte bereits seit über 12 Monate auf meine Bestellten Astra L Sports Tourer von anfänglich 6 Monaten bis heute kann mir niemand verbindlich sagen wann mein Wagen ausgeliefert wird. Nicht schlimm genug es wurde mein Astra auch auf eine neue Modelpreisliste upgedatet und nun ist das intellilux led pixel licht raus und der wireless charger auch jetzt gibts nur noch LED. Echt zum Kotzen was Opel sich erlaubt.
