Climate Change Explained Simply

preview_player
Показать описание
A straightforward explanation of Climate Change: the heat from human emissions is roughly equal to exploding 400,000 Hiroshima atomic bombs every day. Historically, every time carbon dioxide levels increase in Earth's atmosphere, the average surface temperature increases, ice melts, and the seas rise.

I am probably one of the only ones that believe that humanity will collapse later this century because of the rising global population, sea levels, need for more resources to support more humans, running out of resources, and possibly a World War III.

According to the Geological Society, there is no known precedent in the history of the Earth for the rate at which we are now increasing the atmospheric level of CO2, from the burning of fossil fuels. This video is informative, balanced and scientifically accurate.

It left me wanting more but I understand that a video much longer than this one is unlikely to be viewed when forwarded. People are reluctant to invest the time to watch a long video, but a short, content rich video like this one (and your others) might develop a thirst for more and longer videos that contain greater detail. Keep up the great work.

Its all our fault. We've been constantly using fossil fuels at huge proportions and we're going to soon pay the price.

the worst thing is, that hearing this, I just wanna run as far away as possible to some place where this problem just doesn't exist. but I can't because this affects the entire planet, so there's no such thing as that place

So great that you included how integral cutting down the consumption of meat will be for cutting down Co2 emissions, the big elephant in the room.

okay, if people not gonna take a step towards the change, things still will be good - no people - no mistakes

Thank you. “We need a change of heart, a reframing of all our conceptions and a new orientation of our activities. The inward life of man as well as his outward environment have to be reshaped if human salvation is to be secured.” ~ Shoghi Effendi, Baha'i Faith

Can you create two documentaries: one about the black holes in space and one about renewable energy and fossil fuel? I would really appreciate that. I think many other people find these subjects very interesting and informative.

How did climatoligists miss this? Sea level won't actually rise if the arctic polar ice cap melts.

"The Arctic Polar Ice Cap Is Just A Huge Iceberg"

if an iceberg is ninety percent below sea
the relative density same also must be
thus a melted iceberg would take a tenth less space
and an equal amount of water displace

I agree the only problem is that who can afford to get a electric vehicles and do updates on clean energy for homes.
