How 3 sources indicate that it was a binary system, after all even binary system would collapse into something single, and there should be only one source or remenent, right?
Is it like this or something else?

Everything was going the same speed within, the gasses were a perfect mixture for slow burning, even adding oxygen wouldn't heat it up, but then a second-opposite star that formed at the same time or was spilt, joined back, and then it cooled rapidly from the first gas relief its ever had since the original split.

I suspect it was sucked up by a black hole on the other side where we couldn't see it. What happened to the planets orbiting that star. I assume it was part of a solar system?

My belief is the binary system contained a star remnant made up of heavy elements . Which combined with all the heavy elements at the heart of the massive star at which point it's mass went beyond the critical point at which it's gravity became so great that light could no longer escape and effectively became a black hole .which is what I believe a black hole is. It's just an enormous amount of heavy elements which can't be used up in nuclear fusion .
All that stuff has to go somewhere . Some gets thrown out into the galaxy during a supernova but the majority coalesces through natural attraction. Or gravity .
So black holes are just giant neutron stars that have passed a state of critical mass where it's gravity is great enough to contain it's light.

Could also be a Dyson sphere or a thick cloud of interstellar dust, or even possibly a rogue planet crossing the field of view between us and the star.

In my book a binary system contains the actual word bi witch means 2. So a binary star system remains out of 2 stars.

Why did the reporter said that this particular strange star system was part of a binary system of 3 stars…?

I’m not trying to muck up with this content and i’m seriously hoping to get some answers.
For there could be some theories that i don’t understand jet.

How come every star you can see is part of a triangle star system? I have seen two of these triangle star systems fly away when I looked at them. You should be missing six stars from your constellations.

Now all the scientists and astronomers are going to bend the rules to make it fit how that star disappeared like it did that goes to show you science and all it's cracked up to be and what they are telling you
