JWST Confirms the Hubble Constant, But There’s a Catch

The universe is expanding, but how fast? And why does it matter? In this episode, we will talk about the Hubble constant, which is the rate of expansion of the universe, and the Hubble tension, which is the discrepancy between different methods of measuring it. We will also discuss the latest results from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope, which confirm the accuracy of one of the methods, but also deepen the mystery of why it differs from another method.

Ohh we're definitely missing something. We've barely even begun to figure out the cosmos.

Our universe is an ongoing test tube experiment in another larger universe.

there is something in the medium that will interrupt the light. This cannot be achieve by our ways of seeing and assuming things.

This made me think of Gödel's incompleteness theorems ❤

The more we find out, the more we find out that there are more things we dont understand than we do understand.
We are absolutely becoming more knowledgeable, whilst becoming relatively more ignorant at the same time.

Because our universe is expanding into another universe.

I still don’t know how much the universe is expanding…

Maybe I'm especially stupid but where is the link to this"full episode" you speak of?

I'd imagine its similar to the outward pressures that vary within an explosion as we see on earth, regardless that there's no atmosphere in space.

ALL branches of science are WHAT WE KNOW CURRENTLY - it is NOT the end product. Knowledge is progressive, an incremental search for the 'whichness and the why' of life.

Interesting, but I'm a noobie... If everything is moving away from everything else, wouldn't that mean that the "fabric" of space itself is expanding (stretching)? Otherwise there would be a "center" that everything is moving away from.

If you input bad information into a computer, you get bad results that don't make sense. So our information is not complete and may never be.

The Space Universe started when Dielectric energy tunneled from the Universal Condensate. Dielectric energy created Space to exist in. Instantaneously expanding infinitely through Nothing, before Time. Expanding into vortices of Magnetism, when Time began. This is when the Universe started imploding. Like fractals from the Mandelbrot set. Gravity is acceleration into the low pressure of Nothing of Aether's apex.

The universe is already there everywhere… it is infinitely spread out in all directions, though it seems like expanding when we are watching.

The problem could be we are in space sized Eddie currents. We don't have stationary point of reference to start from

You told us neither the what the rate of expansion is, nor the reason why it is important.

Great fucking job, @NASA…

Well...there are things out there that are out of reach of the human grasp. Even Bigfoot is laughing...'You humans😅'

We're missing a lot what I don't understand is how do we know the universe is expanding just because a few or more than a few galaxies are moving away from us but don't we have some galaxies moving towards us for example the Andromeda Galaxy so what makes us so sure galaxies in the universe itself is expanding it's the same with us there has to be other galaxies that has other galaxies coming towards them and not just moving away from them so my question is what is these big brains know that we don't know and their brains ain't much bigger than ours I tell you that much they're the same as any other human? Any thoughts on this I love good feedback

Okay with all the problems we face right here on earth, why do we need to know how fast the universe is expanding? I have no immediate plans to become a Dimensioneer.

I believe a lot of assumptions we made about yhe universe will be discarded.if different methods are giving inconsistent results the answer is obvious. Some are wrong methods.
