I think NMS will not get boring for the exact reason Just Cause 2 never got boring. Freedom of movement as a gameplay mechanic is something incredibly compelling, arguably more so than a well written plot. It seems like such a fluid experience playing this game and transitioning between environments without loading screens it will just be easy to keep playing.
