This is what I've always said: if you suffered from acne/oily skin when you were young, karma will let you have nice skin in old age. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Thank you, hope you have a beautiful rest of your week, Dr. Dray ❤️🧡💛✨

I been using prescription retinA since I was 23 and I seriously show no wrinkles or any type age on my skin … vitamin c and lots of SPF 50 or higher, color science, Isdin, elta md SPFs are really good, THATS all you need! I am she of 59 and I use it everyday

I started using retinols in my early 30's, and moved to tretinoin in my late 30's. I also stepped up my sunscreen game around that time. If anything, I wish I would've started the sunscreen much sooner. Retinol products will benefit you no matter when you start them, but you can't undo all sun damage.

Back in the 90s, in my area, the derms wouldn't prescribe Retin A to a woman of child bearing age because it could cause birth defects, they said. You couldn't get it until you turned 45.

Btw, I used retinA as a teen for teenage acne 20+ yrs ago. Let me tell you, I feel like it brought on onset eczema for me. Too drying. But obv I didn’t have my amazing seems to guide me. Definitely remember the peeling

I'm 52 and hadn't really heard of this stuff until a few years ago. So behind! Oh well, at least I've avoided the sun a lot - mainly because I don't like being hot 🥵😆.

Knowing what I know now I would probably be demanding it in the delivery room if I was being born now in infancy dialect! 👶

This is nice info. I’ve been thinking about getting it for my daughter who’s almost 13 and showing signs of acne. I use Tretinoin every night, and it’s done wonders for my skin, and clearing my acne. So I was wondering how young is too young, to start my daughter on it. Because if I would’ve known about Tretinoin/Retin-A when I was a teen, I could’ve prevented so much embarrassing acne, and damaged skin.

If you're thinking about using it, then do it! It's incredible what it does for your skin, not only did it help with my cystic acne, but it minimized small wrinkles. Use with caution and with your dermatologists supervision 😊

im an esthetician and i am learning so much from you. but some things i dont agree with like Retin A is one. retin a causes dry and flaky skin, tried it, didnt like it, same with benzoyl perpxide. its better to use them as masks i think. some or my fav alternatives for anti aging are hyaluronic acid, aloe, niacinamide, and vitamin C.

I’m 40 and I just started noticing tiny wrinkles on top of my cheeks when I smile, so I think it’s time. I lived wrinkle free so far mainly because I don’t drink, nor smoke, don’t expose my skin to sunlight much and don’t put toxic chemicals like creams on my skin.
