I was never taught skincare. I developed a skin care routine based solely on her videos about aging, scars ans hyperpigmentation. A year later, i am impressed!! The attophic scars look a little lighter but still bad.i cant afford treatments.its ruined my life. But everything else looks amazing. Everything is gone except these horrible scars.

Very helpful! Interestingly, I’ve heard others say retinal is the most gentle one and better for sensitive skin 🤷🏼‍♀️

She means retinol is the least effective, not the most gentle. Retinal is more effective than retinol but more gentle at the same time. I used Skinceuticals retinol but then changed to the Avene retinal. SO much more gentle. Comes in a fragrance free version, too.

I was in varsity. I had acne, and the doctor prescribed retinoid. I did not know anything about sunscreen. I played netball every day in the sun. I would apply retinoid and go play netball in the sun without sunscreen I awe my skin everything.
