Video shows convicted murderer Danelo Cavalcante's escape from prison

A murderer on the loose in suburban Philadelphia escaped from a jail yard by climbing up a wall and over razor wire last week, prison officials said Wednesday.

A security video of the escape shows Danelo Cavalcante, 34, standing in a passageway before bracing his hands against one wall and his feet against another, then walking his way upward out of the camera's view.

There's something about prison escapes that always fascinates me. The determination and ingenuity people can come up with when properly motivated is really impressive.

The jail is entirely to blame for not taking corrective action after the FIRST time somebody escaped the exact same way.

It's still baffling that after the first escape attempt, prison administration didn't correct the security inadequacy. Not that difficult to weld some metal above that "crab walk razor wire" area.

Putting aside how terrible the security of the prison is., it’s impressive to see how easily he climbed that wall.

Maybe instead of allowing these terrorists to exercise everyday the prisoners should be working 12-15 per day, so they are too exhausted to think about escaping.

The escape was impressive, although two people could easily help each other up,
When you are doing time all you do is plan your escape, it is a must as time would go by slowly without at least drawing up plans in your head,
