5 steps to make your team feel appreciated
1.Learn to genuinely care
1.Take time, take practice,
2.everytime they think about you, they will smile. Everytime you call, they will embrace you.
2.Take a look at your leadership style
1.Golden rule management
2.Treat your employees the way that you want to be treated
3.Engage in everyday conversation
1.How were you doing?
2.Hows everything at home?
3.Hows your life?
4.Communicate your goals
1.Employee need to know that they play an important role in moving company forward
2.They need to know the bigger picture
3.Let them know how what they are doing helping the company reach those goals.
4.Long lunches and dinners for some teams to inform what is going on.
5.talk to them and ask questions, share goals, how the goals works for the teams, inviting inputs on the goals, the more they know on the goals, the more they feel appreciated and work towards the goals.
5.Challenge the employees
1.Getting a chance for flex their capabilities by tackling a challenge
2.Able to do, they will be more appreciated,
3.Give them room to achieve a more complex job and stand back
