It’s seems sharper/clearer than the mic you were using. Both good but I can tell how it doesn’t pick up sound from far. Ya that is really good 👍🏻. Take care.

The part you missed was that you didn’t mention that the fx3 is a 4 thousand dollar camera and if you bought the xlr
Handle separately is 598 usd plus the price of the pod mic.
But in all fairness it is a super nice minimalist setup for podcasts
