Never get tired of watching your very informative tutorials, sometimes more than once. Food on the plate is better than a chicken bone in the dirt.

I'm not sure there's a beaver alive that stands a chance against you. You are a master beaver trapper. Great video!

very nice video! I love the front foot catch on drowning rods! You have their head closer to the water...also thanks so much! I'm was trying to figure out how to run a double trap on same drowner to save carrying down another rod to the river! I'm going to try this set! I'll post a video to show how it works for me.

Great video. Thanks for the info. I've had so many ring off an offset Duke #4 coil spring its maddening. Offsets required on any trap with 2 springs we also have a 2 spring limit in Oklahoma. We cant use conibears either. (Boo!) I will try your set up this week. Thanks again, great stuff sir.

I like that double trap on a single drowner set. That way you have the traps to cover the area but only one rod to clutter the bottom with.
I like using 2 footholds on a Dambreak set. Once it was 2ft Deep and a big female got a front foot catch in one trap and a backfoot catch in the other. Had my drowning rods go out in a V, so she was stretched between the 2 and drowned her in 2ft of water. 2 rods are more apt to spook a beaver, than just 1.

hi Meat trapper! I have to argue with you, but only a little bit!! You do not have to drown a beaver in a front foot catch!!

I often catch large beaver by a front foot alive (for eating purposes) as long as I am using a 4 coiled Bridger number 2.

the trap needs to be small enough that the beaver can not get enough base to twist off. I have had beaver twist off in #4 longs, but never a strong number 2.

I let the swivels do their job, and take some more meat home!!

Great Videos!!

Parabéns pelo seus vídeos, vc é um exelente profissional, adoraria comprar umas trampas igual essas, mas não sei com fazer para importar para o Brasil. Vc conhece alguém que exporta trampa para outros país?
Abraço, sou seu fã
