I started something called a "Potato Reset" on Monday. The intention of something like this is for resetting the taste buds and to help with your last little bit of stubborn weight that won't seem to budge.🫠
How to do a Potato Reset?🥔
Make sure to stay stocked on non starchy veggies 🥦
(Mary McDougall recommends sticking to green & yellow non-starchy veggies)
Pick your potato of choice🍠
(it's also recommended to use the SAME TYPE of potato for each meal- it's supposed to be "boring", per Mary McDougall, because you're essentially eating the same foods over and over)
No added fats or oils or animal products AT ALL🚫
Stick to drinks such as water, herbal tea, black coffee🫖
(I add a little soy milk)
No snacking in between🚫
(this sounded tough to me at first- but I am making sure to fill up completely on the veg & starch during meal times that the thought of a snack truly hasn't came up for me!)🤯
I have literally lost 2 lbs. in 2 days. This was the ticket all along to tackle my goals!🥹 I am literally so excited!!
