I've had 3 of these tests over the years. It's a little awkward but no big deal at all. I sleep with my cpap every night, and im so grateful for it. I sleep great. I'm healthy. I wouldn't sleep without it.

I’ve got one of these scheduled for next week. My doctor pushed for and recommended the in person because he believes it’s better. My insurance denied the in person test. I recognize that the at home test is fine as I don’t have any heart conditions or other conditions that would make an in person test more necessary. But I find it frustrating and insulting that MY DOCTOR ordered the in person test and the INSURANCE that I pay for somehow thinks they are in a position to determine what’s better for my health more so than my actual doctor and myself. Screw insurance companies.

Where can I purchase a home sleep apnea test? I need one for my DOT phsyical. I don’t have trouble breathing at night but due to my BMI doctor wanted me to take one

I get anxious very easily about this stuff and I live alone. This looks difficult to me, I don't mean to sound stupid. It's probably just my anxiety. But I know I would never be able to do it in a clinic and I'm not even sure I could do it at home.

I want my grandma to get this done bc she has PD and other things she wouldnt wanna go somewhere else to sleep to get the study.

Mine said I woke up 196 times a night however taking forever for CPAP to come and I hope mask is comfortable

do I have to go to my primary care doctor in order to get a referral and begin this long process? Is there any easier way does anyone have someplace that I could go or order the in home test online. I haven't been able to sleep for a long time and I had no idea it was sleep apnea but someone told me that likely is now. I'm desperate to find some help quickly. I don't understand this crap.

I had a sleep apnea test when I was 9 years old that was on Friday May 6, 2016 and I didn’t do the test at home or a hospital it was like a special building just with nurses and rooms. I think I didn’t sleep at all because I was so scared but the nurses told me that I did I sleep a little bit.

?my issues of breathing interface come shortly after eyes fall shut. Takes gasping heavy breathing to undo my shortage? I'm having heart issues too could breathing be linked to a heart valve?

How can it tell when/if you are sleeping, if it doesn't have brain signal sensors? Looks to me like a scam to miss diagnose ppl and make them buy your product.

I had a sleep study. It was horrific. Don't do it. I felt violated and deceived. Very traumatic.

After you are unable to fall asleep at all because you have all this crap tied around your chest and waist and plugged into your face...package all this overpriced crap up and return it. I'd rather die in my sleep than trust the medical establishment to help me.
