Those of you complaining about the complexity and being uncomfortable have most likely never had the old testing way of monitoring breathing while sleeping. This is a piece of cake. Easy to use, but my index finger was sore and I do not have finger nails. I was constantly trying to readjust the finger probe at night to stop the hurting. I woke up with a little bump on my finger. They need to redesign the finger probe.

My doc suggested to use a band-aid to help sensor stay put but true having medical tape included would be so helpful.. 🤦🏻‍♀️

What they do not tell you is that you can only use this ONCE. If you make a mistake, you need to get another device. A new battery will not work. This also goes for putting the battery in early. Not sure why they would design it this way.

You can unplug the charger for the rest of the night after your initial plug. This is because I did slow charging on my laptop. The laptop shut down in the middle of the night and it didn't affected the program. Ensure you have enough battery, I started at 43% when I plugged in, in the morning it was at 64%. I assume it does not require too much battery. Also, the program appears to upload and close around 10-11 hours on its own - there is a limit.

"Make sure the green indication light blinks". You need to explain or show in the video where that light is. I thought it was the led above the battery compartment, it's actually on the opposite side in the top white area. This event made me have to call the support number and they did not ask where I was looking to find the blinking light..

I get up all the time to go to the restroom. Is it okay to get up during the night as long as I don't take any of the equipment off.

Had to wait the whole 6 hours before ending test kept waking up and going back to sleep finger was sore in the morning but it went pretty well

I’m taking this test on my own…no where did it say I needed a PIN from my physician. When I took the call before it was sent to me there was no mention of it and now that I’m ready to do it it says I need a PIN??!!! Very frustrating. Is there another way to get a PIN to be able to use the test? They make it sound like someone with call you with the results to discuss what is next. What’s the deal with this??!!

How can it tell when/if you are sleeping and know what stage of sleep you are in, if it doesn't have brain signal patches?

The pulse ox finger monitor is a problem! I don't have fat fingers, and per recommendations I read in you tube comments I put the device on my little finger.
I woke in the night to my finger hurting. I tried twisting the device to provide some relief. If you remove the device it stops the study, so I bore the pain till morning.
At the end of the study my finger hurt like hell from the base of my fingernail to the tip of my finger, all around the finger.
I made it through the night, but it was torture. They should reconsider using that hard plastic shell.

Following the instructions to set up the unit, I installed the battery and checked for the green light they mention. I saw a RED light blinking on the front side of the unit in the middle of the printed name. What does that mean? With no information on what that means or what to do if the green light doesn't blink, I went ahead and did the test. It appeared to complete it, but I have to wait to hear from the docs as to whether it did work. I hate that you have to throw it away after one use!
