many recent builds have tiles over dot and dab plasterboard, presumably those standard wall plugs wont work? presumably the fixing would need to be into the wall behind the plasterboard?

What if the tiles are on plasterboard ? Mine is plasterboard. The room at the other side of the bathroom has a recessed cupboard that sits right behind where the shower screen would go. So no brickwork at all.

Behind the tiles- was it plasterboard/solid wall? Or did you screw into a stud?

Alright guys but, is it alright to instal the screen close to the electric shower box?

Surely, the capped screen fixing screws should be on the outside of the screen i.e. keep the screws and caps away from steam and water. Turn the channel up the other way before fixing to the wall, that's what I shall do.
