An easy way to adjust that rod and nail it every time is to do it OUTSIDE the pipe. You can really easily mark the fully closed position on the outside and use the screws to hold the plate on the back side of the assembly. Then you adjust it to the correct height, and boom broski, you’ve got yourself the perfect length every single time.

We got a few people at my work that speak 0 English and what i do is pull out google translate or type what I want to say in and tell it to translate it to what ever language they speak and then have then type their responses. It takes a min but man is it a life saver. Saves you some miscommunication and a fuck up down the road my guy. Stay up love you work
