This video covers the best way to install a bath. It's worked for us hundreds of times and should for you too! We cover removing the old bath, attaching the legs to the new bath and using a spirit level to level the new bath. We also cover fixing it to the wall and using glue and adhesive to seal it tight before tiling.

THX again for shpwing how simple YOU can fit a bath in just 15 min :D ... No in honesty it was really helpful to see how you change a bath and how to fit and level it right. THUMBS up and keep doing what you are doing !!!

So after you've levelled the bath, you can then offer the panel up and find it doesn't fit. Alternatively you offer the panel up first and once you've got the correct height, then you can level the bath up. Saves a lot of messing about if you do it right from the start!

Hi is there a need of wood support or wood frame with this type of bath or are the clips sufficent enough to support the bath?

Great vid, thanks. I need to remove and old cast iron bath, put a new subfloor in and turn the new bath around.
Hopefully the waste pipe can be lengthened and angled ok.
This vid will help.

I've come back to this video and the basin one time and time again during the time its taking me to plumb in a completely new bathroom- no local plumber would do it because my husband had started work on it before he died, so I dug deep and got on with the job.

Hi James, I want to take the bath out of my small bathroom to have a shower enclosure along the wall instead. The bath taps are at one end of the bath attached to the outside waste and the electric shower is at the other end of the bath so the water runs right along to bath before it goes down the waste ! Trouble is, I don't know what lies beneath ! Is it possible to fit a shower enclosure in a situation like this ! I so love your videos for entertainment value alone but so far I've had so much help from watching your videos ! You are great and you have me in stitches ! HOLD TIGHT !!!

I notice that at 11:56 you have put two screws through the bracket and into the wall but no screw into the lip of the Bath. What is the top hole in the bracket for then?

No

How did you screw the feet in nearer to the back wall? I am about to put a bath in a 1690mm gap. I am using a 1700mm bath so I think chisel out a bit of plaster board. But once in place I can't see how I can get at the far feet

Just an FYI. The URL to your training course in the text above is not correct. Missing a "."
