This video is much more informative than Tech Radar's. Subscribed.

They seem like they are leaning towards Plasma, but I'm confused as last time I did a lot of research, most people seem to lean towards LED LCD tvs, and I've heard more good things about LED LCD tvs than Plasma. I'm planning on buying a new tv in another month or so. Finally replacing my 27 inch Sony that's over 10 years old, although it still works like new. I know I want 1080p, but not concerned about any internet capability on the tv. Also know I want at least 50 inches.

LED is probably the best. Plasma is also good. Im not to keen on OLED because apparently the screen deteriorates quite fast. My old toshiba TV from 1987 still wrosk perfectly fine today and I want that in a new TV

If you can, try to find a TV that doesn't have smart features built in and just add the features on yourself through a blu ray player or streaming media box. Saves you a nice chunk of money for the same features.

Have you guys made a video of most reliable TV brands and series? Much like your reliable cars 2017 ect.

honestly i think oled (or amoled) has problems with mobile use since things like the keyboard or (some android phones) the onscreen buttons (like the moto x and the galaxy nexus) tend to burn in because on a phone there is a chance that the same thing will be showing all the time. while on a tv a burn in might not last as long (if it dose happen) since the pictures are always changing the pixel colors. only chance of burn in on a tv is gaming where the hud (life magic etc) is always on.

General rule of thumb is take the size of your tv in inches, divide by 4, and put that into feet. That is optimal tv sitting distance. (I.E. 40 inches divided by 4 is 10 so 10 feet).

ok on the latest mobiles phones, however their is a problem with the colour blue on the large scrren TVs apparently.

when you say it has access to internet, is that when you have your own wireless internet at home and it gets connected to it? so we don't need to connect our laptop to the tv to watch a film or something?

If your screen is less than 40" there's nothing wrong with 720p. You really can't tell the difference until you get beyond 40 inches or so. I've been using a 32" Samsung 720p set for the past 3 years and it has a great picture.IIt also makes a decent PC monitor. Not great but decent. 85% of TV programming is in 720p. Why is 1080i the highest on TV?

Can you made a newer video please? TV'S have changed drastically since you made this video. Smart tvs need a comparison review. I'm not finding many reviews on the best tv & their apps, internet speed, options. Thanx...

I'm trying to find the keyword (and resulting comparisons) for the ability to manually set presets to antenna channels. e.g. 69.1 refers to itself as it's cable position 'Fox 5". I want to set it as preset #5. instead of having to enter "69.1" and having it "out of order" according to how they present themselves.

Any suggestions on this? (and No, I don't want Cable)
