I appreciate the long content. Having depression, sometimes it's hard for me to take care of certain needs. I use these videos as incentives to take a long soak in the bath, keeping my hygiene up. Some tips:
The rooms and doors are relatively cheap, but are really easy to find and IMO a great way to prevent running out of oxygen early game.
I build a bunch spiderwebbing out from my base so no matter where I go I can travel safely.
I also put wind turbines for those I put water in(W for wind and water) and solar panels for those with food(food growers are best since then you don't need to worry about replacing it). This makes those way less of a concern too(since any time you're running low you can just run to the nearest and top up).
Late game it's not an issue, but early-mid game it's convenient.
