Solar wind: BOI I WAS THE ONE WHO MADE MARS UNINHABITABLE NOW YOU TRYNA MAKE ME DO IT AGAIN!?!?!?!?!?

So earth basically was like “i dont wanna be dead no more” 💀💀

You could in theory for a short time place a space station between Earth and Mars that generates its own magnetic field that orbits in conjunction with Mars' solar orbit acting like a cone to block solar radiation, or use a fusion reactor a very dam big one at the core as daft as it sounds and that would not only provide power but generate a magnetic field that way.

The most difficult thing is gravity, the atmosphere won't thicken up with 1/3 the gravity of Earth, it's why even if Mars was located where Earth is it still wouldn't have life or at least how we know it as the atmosphere would be very thin in comparison.

We should plan a colony near poles. Melt snow with sun. Lenses and solar energy. Then agriculture and a small ecosystem with robots. Leave robots there to do our work

Start by dropping iron rocks to develop a core and magnetic field.

We could build a large magnet body around the mars to create an artificial magnetic field if we cant heat up mars core

How will transforming Mars to habitable will affect Earth

Isn't water polar which means putting oxygen in þhe aosphere would allow for it to be melted since o2 will react with things on the surface and on top of that water is magnetic and I suspect the reason we have a magnetic field thus you want to get oceans on the planet since water also holds other metals like iron which will make a magnetic field in theory since mars is quite a massive scale so any change in surface build up will prove to effect it in ways that may be positive especially if we get water to get out of the ground

If there's also hydrocarbon fuels that also produces water when buned so burning things once oxygen levels are restored will be how you build and ocean if there isn't enough liquid water by then

What about the obvious question. Mars had a thicker atmosphere and a lot of surface water at one time. Terraform it and how long does it take to unterraform this time?

The only thing I don't understand about terraforming Mars is that it is a almost dead planet. The magnetic field is gone how are we going to keep the air and water in place. We know there was water there at one time and then the core became so what's going to keep that from happening with the air and water again.

We should practice on earth tho 😂❤🤷‍♂️☝️ he's right like if we can terraform Mars, why tf are we leaving lol

We could even watch the moon terraform with our very own eyes. Incredible.

This is where billionaires should do send trees and cactus dry plants and grow them out there with water

How could we generate a naturally sustainable magnetic field for mars

it's weird I just watched a video where an ex causmonaught said there is life on Mars and they live where? underground! wtf?

#Musk He is freaking amazing, I have an idea use 1800 satellites with giant solar panels rotating around Mars Now start now.

Well if we send gallons of water and beans and cactus and bigass trees we can terra fo it
