Daily Flow 4th Grade
This is the last in my planning series to plan our 2021-2022 homeschool year. This is what we are planning to do every day for 4th grade. I call it a flow, some call it a rhythm, a plan. Basically, it is just an order of what to do first then next until you are done. This is different than a schedule where we would work on math from 8-8:30, LA from 8:30-9:30, etc. I have found so much ease and success in the flow system that by the end of last school year, I had adopted it for my own personal schedule. I do plan to share more home plans and routines once the school year is underway.

We do very similar too, with the exception of a few of our subjects that we focus on weekly instead of a few minutes each day. We do a 4 day week also, and do all of our reading, spelling, math, handwriting, etc daily, but then Mondays we do a longer Art lesson and project, Tuesdays we do a week’s worth of science lesson and an experiment, Wednesday we do a week worth of STEM and Logic, and Thursday a week worth of Geography/Social studies lessons. It seems to be a good change from so many subjects in one day for my kiddo. She loves the uniqueness of each day that way.

Want to start up a teen club that dose service projects when she’s 13. & 4H is free!! They do service projects your older daughter can do regular clubs of her choosing your youngest ones can do clover buds! No reglious stuff in it !. Spelling Bee & National Georphy Bee is great. To this day I am friends with people from the homeschooling group. The Y has Gym class for homeschoolers!.

Ours looks very similar. It seems so jammed but most of it takes 5-10 mins in each workbook. Once we get a good rhythm going I can tweak it better for lunch and snacks.
