I use a toner before to avoid that.If my skin is very congested, I do an exfoliationg toner before the mask, aha aha, and the clay sucks out everything. But this last I advise for people that can handle both things at a time.

That's actually a great idea. I am using the mask from beauty of joseon on your recommendation which is not drying at all.
Also, I wanted to know your thoughts on the ordinary milky toner and Tonymoly mochi Ceramide toner.

Should work just as fine if you prep the skin before the mask with a hydrating toner or even one that moisturize; for example I'm From Rice Toner - or why not try with the new rice milk (and kaolin clay!) toner from the Beauty Of Joseon 😊❤❤❤

I have a creamy cleanser and moisturiser for the same brand with really similar bottles, I accidentally put the cleanser on as a last step and I knew pretty soon because it started burning. Leaving cleanser on your skin for 10 minutes does not sound like a great idea.

is it not dangerous to leave the surfactants present in the milk cleanser on the skin for so long? i used to mix my clay mask with an essence/toner for this purpose
