Love how she shows really close up of her skin, that you can see all of her pores. From far her skin looks literally flawless.

Omg I literally thought I was going crazy or maybe it was just a placebo thing but ever since I started using the muji mild cleansing oil, I've noticed that my nose was less rough and less prone to excess sebum!!

I thought I was the only weird one massaging my oily skin with oil because its an odd concept in skincare community lol but its nice to know someone else has been doing the same. I've been doing that "deep" cleansing massaging (for 10-15mins) with grapeseed or safflower oil, literally oil, in my PM routine for years now. Its a similar concept of double cleanser except this doesnt lather so I rinse off with warm water followed by a regular cleanser that can remove that oil without stripping my face. I used to do it with coconut oil years ago but grapeseed/safflower oils are better since they are lightweight. For me this is a non irritating way to exfoliate my skin in a way because I can feel my bumpy/congested skin feeling smooth afterwards. Sorry tl;dr. Just wanted to share my experience.

I completely read the title wrong. I thought it said “how to completely seduce the appearance of your pores” and that made me click ahah

One thing I LOVE about your video is that you show your natural imperfect skin upclose without makeup and then transform into GORGEOUS perfect glowy skin with a bit of makeup. Yes, REAL NORMAL people do have pores and don’t have perfect skin. I really don’t like influencer that only show themselves in good lighting so their skin looks good. You inspired me to accept my imperfect skin, but can still look good with a bit of care and makeup.

James Welsh spoke about LAbeautyologist's 20 minute deep oil cleanse and how good it is for removing oil plugs. When I have done this while my skin is super congested, I can feel and see them come loose! Doing this once a week in summer really gently breaks loose any excessive sebaceous filaments + keeps closed comedones at bay.

Showing your face texture will help a lot of people find their confidence. With everyone looking perfect, it's easy to forget that other people have the same problems - be it pores, redness, uneven texture, etc.

Thank you for keeping it so real!

IMO the best way to reduce your pore size is to get a good night's sleep :) I notice a massive difference in how large my pores look/how oily my skin is when I am tired vs well rested. Sleep is one of the best things you an do for your skin and health
in general!

The oil cleanser for deep cleaning tip is so simple yet so effective.. I will do this often, thank you! I am really trying to fight my acne, just got two prescriptions for the first time in my life and think deep cleansing is another weapon to add to the arsenal

12:24 truly is a life changer, it’s only been 8 months but it had helped my pores so well like 1-3 months 🙏

Retinol is one the highest and clinically studied items for blackheads and sebaceous filaments. Once you add that in, you'll take half the steps out of your routine... trust me!!

I don’t use a clay mask only because I’m lazy and hate the process of washing it off so instead I like to use a BHA (I use the Paula’s choice 2%) the night before I do a deep oil cleanse or right after! (I only oil cleanse at night because I don’t wanna be double cleansing in the morning.) this really helps me get a lot of build up from my pores

I feel like I see many MANY videos of people talking about skincare for super oily skin, ( I feel like more people probably struggle with oily skin than dry skin?) But I'm SO glad I finally found a good video, I've struggled with super dry skin particularly on my face for years and have tried to many different things (most of them being targeted towards oily skin so in the long run not working for me), I just ordered a few of these products you recommended and will be starting my new skin journey today. Wish me luck!

I decided to try oil cleansing during the night for the first time and omg call me crazy but I noticed the difference immediately!
Specially with the pores around my nose, they look much better!!
I’m still struggling with skin texture though but it feels nice to finally get the pore situation much more controlled.
Thank you for the advice! ❤ the Muji cleansing oil is now a must in my nighttime routine!

This oil cleansing massage procedure is the EXACT procedure I have been doing for 15 years nightly to apply benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel to combat acne. I have always considered the dramatic improvement in pores to the gel. I guess the massage is the real magic.

I have heard it called oil pulling when using an oil cleanser for an extended period of time. Some have recommended doing it for 6-10 minutes.

I love that shade of shadow on you, I have tried many times to wear peachy orange shades on my lids and it never works out right, we are close in complexion as well but I may have a more yellow undertone.
Beautiful, and your skin is fabulous! 😍😍
