Don’t use a metal spoon in bentonite clay. Instead use a plastic or wooden spoon. 

Bentonite clay is good at clearing your pores because bentonite clay is negatively charged and toxins and impurities are positively charged making them bind to the clay.If you used a metal spoon it could deactivate it and change it’s properties making it less effective.
