This is helpful. So the issue is that the audience was limiting God's plan of salvation (Israel only, Israel All), but then God wants to show that he can choose to widen his salvation to ANYONE who trusts in Jesus.

It's amazing how people take parts of a single letter out of context from the rest of the letter. Romans 9 should be viewed in light of Romans 2 as well as the rest of Romans as a whole.

Wow! I truly appreciate the Jeremiah 18 cross reference when responding to the Porta l Potter and clay thing. I thought I was the only one who made that observation. That chapter sheds a lot of light on what Paul could be really saying in Romans. Thank God for the whole counsel of His Word. 🙌🏾
