Worked perfectly! Got it 2nd try thanks man. Press the button to enter the fog gate right before the projectile hits you so the input registers right as it hits you, you just glitch through during the hit animation. I was finding this boss much harder then Margit or godrick using a mage build.

The annoying thing is he doesn't give you time to cast spells because I'm a mage

7/4/24 it worked. you have to press e RIGHT before you get hit with the projectile

21 / 9 / 24 and it still works. In order for this to work, you gotta enter when getting hit by the magic, face towards the fog AND walk towards the fog ; makes you get pushed easier 👍👍👍

Still working, took me about 5-10 tries this was very helpful. Feb 25th. Flask has nothing to do with it as well. I didn’t use a flask and got it still.

It still works. If I can give a tip that helped me it would be that you need to anticipate when the shot will hit you instead of spamming the enter button the moment it does. It hit me while I was passing through the gate not the moment I clicked.

I tried using this technique and couldn't get it. My timing was always off and I'd enter before I got hit. So, how I beat him pretty easily was this. I used dog rot +4 along with fire sling (I think that's the correct name). I figured fur and flames don't mix well and I was right! Keep your distance but not too far or the spell won't hit him but trust me, it works pretty really well.

I tried doing it because I kept dying and dying and when I tried and it didn’t work I ended up going through the mist but I just beat him normally lol
