What a wonderful tutorial! My son and I will be using this as a guide to help replace his grandma’s rotors and pads. I’m very impressed with this technician and her step by step approach.

I've been working on cars for 50 years and you taught me something I did not know. Thank you.

I've been changing my pads and rotors for years. I was taught to put a very thin coat of grease in the notches where the top of the pad slides into the caliper bracket. I've always done that and have had no issues.

Excellent video, and the most informative one I've seen for the Equinox brake and rotor replacement. Everything including torques was stated clearly. I've done a couple brake replacements in the past. Always good to review and learn something new.

Just completed this replacement this weekend. No experience. With this video it was a breeze. Ordered the kit from 1a Auto and everything fit/works great. Appreciate the video/information.

Love that the video was made with a woman performing the brake and rotor service! Wish we had more women in the field! Great job, ma’am!

Great video. So detailed. I always watch a video that way I know the tools I’m going to need. Definitely didn’t know about the piston caliber bleeder. Thanks!

Hey I just wanna say thank you!!. Just finished changing my dad’s front brakes, and the only downside was I broke the screw that holds the driver’s side rotor, so hopefully nothing bad happens lol. Other than that I just followed step by step and made it easy to install. The old man was really happy after the dealership asked him for $500 to do the job.

This is the video I’ve been looking for, nobody seems to open bleeder screw!

Except for checking rotor runout with a dial indicator, and brake membrane on the back of the pads to prevent rattling, this was a thorough job.

You are great Ms Lady. You laid this issue and the fix out superbly. Appreciate it. Out of work atm so need to save everywhere I can.

So I noticed you said the caliper pin with the rubber on it usually always goes on top. However I noticed in the video that the it it was on the bottom of the caliper.
Can you clarify? I'm trying to figure out which one goes where. Thank you
