My brakes are slightly spongy after changing brake pads and are initial soft until I press the brakes a few times. I had to bleed the brakes for the caliper piston to reset.

Good video. Just one query, why do you recommend replacing the guide pin bolts?

Where to the axle stands go and where is the jacking point?

I've done this and I didn't have new anti vibration clips so is that why I have a little clicking noise when driving now?

Does it require bleeding the brake lines when fitting new pads or not?

Great video! Just wondering do
You have to remove the brake fluid reservoir cap prior to doing this job or can it be left on?

Thanks, spent $30 + $10 shipping/tax on a front brake pad kit instead of $400-800 at the mechanic shop.

why no copper grease to save brake squeal.

It isn’t good practice to use copper grease on brake pads, as the grease will gradually dissolve and the copper particles will restrict movement of the pads. You should use high temperature grease.
