💧How to Properly Fill Your ResMed AirSense 11 Chamber with Distilled Water

I had my first night on my new resmed airsense 10 and noticed that I could not fill the tank to the max mark or it would overflow on the low side as it sat on the table. Thanks for this confirmation Nick!

My problem is that the tank often runs out of water at about the 8 hour mark, or even a little sooner. I sometimes add water in the morning.

The lid on my reservoir has just enough tension to stay open on its own. With the setting of "five" (5), on "humidity", it lasts all night long and into the morning.
On a level surface, I feel it to the bottom of the maximum line. That puts it just under The Edge where the seal engauges.
As you instructed, do it on a level surface, and close the lid before you pick it up, and there's no problem.

Never had a problem with overfilling. Fill it to the middle line and still have water left over in the morning which I pour into a jug to use for my steam mop.

The current humidifier chamber is pretty useless for those people who need a good amount of steam. I fill this chamber every 1-2 days and still get problems with dryness/stuffiness and difficulty breathing.

Well, problem 1:

I am not sure why someone would need it, but if you set the humidity up to level 8, the tank will be empty by midnight.

Problem 2:

When my wife goes to sleep before me, I have to fill it in a dark room, mostly topping over, and that thing makes a stupid clicking noise that is very noticeable at night.

The water chamber is too small on this unit. The trick is to leave the thing closed and fill it through the hold on the side with a funnel or a narrow fill tube. You can get it up to the max line without problem that way

That's one of the biggest why-oh-why's I have with the s11. I also wish the filter fit better and its door sealed a bit more firmly.

My water chamber is not water tight…it does not fit tightly, but I handle carefully and fill halfway from middle line to max, often have water left….I clock in 5-6 hrs, sometimes more but rarely as I have insomnia

Why did my s9 have water for days but the s10 and s11 use so much more water. Even if setting is the same (4?).

My tank was empty by morning for months until this latest software update. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this?
