Many nail techs in America don't care about the health of the nails after the artificial nails are removed. I wish more technicians were like you.

Since I started watching you I actually managed to stop biting my nails completely; which I'd been doing since I was around 7.

The tapping noise whilst using my phone is the best thing I've ever heard.

If you're here because of Covid and you've already watched a bunch of tutorials on Youtube about how to do a fill and they haven't really been that great.. and now you're wondering if this one is any good.. stop.. just stop. You have found THE video. This nail tech is FANTASTIC. Thank you for doing this video! You've made this quarantined gal's nails happy.

Ive gotten my boyfriend obsessed with Suzie! He knows absolutely nothing about nails and hated when I get mine done because he says they’re too sharp, but he asks everyday if Suzie has uploaded a new video! Thanks for helping us bond!!

I wish more nail techs were as precise as you. In my life I have gone to a dozen salons to have my acrylics done and I am rarely happy. I do speak up and show photos and explain exactly the color and shape I want. Usually it is this exact coffin shape. Most of them get frustrated. I actually had a guy the last time I got them done argue with me about what a “coffin” shape was. In 15 years I have yet to find a tech who will do what I ask and be gentle. I’ve been nicked more times than I can count, my nails have been wavey and bumpy, the shape is off, they are crooked, uneven lengths, ugh it’s always something. I am admittedly pretty picky with my nails bc I know exactly what I want them to look like but I never get the results I pay for. I think all nail techs should have to watch this video as a reference!

I had a nail techs "assistant" who was prepping my nails and was filing them. One of the things I hate is how hot the e- file can get when they are filing the acrylic down to prep. Anyway, she literally burned me to the point where I instinctively yanked my hand away. I told her she burned me....she ROLLED HER EYES!!! And mind you, I had warned her already that the filing was getting hot. Oh, I was livid! I got up, told the nail tech what happened, and the nail tech said nothing. So I left. I also went to every review site online and left a bad review. This actually happens a lot, and I would think that you're trained to not burn your client. I mean, you don't need a degree in science to understand friction causes heat! And then to have such an "non" reaction, and roll your eyes as if the client is overreacting? Whatever happened to customer service? Or just caring about your client in general?

I’m getting so much better with my acrylic nails thanks to you! The one area I struggle with is cuticle though. I keep making the mistake and bringing the acrylic right up to my cuticle therefore my nails are looking like a turtle shell 🐢 lol😅

I’ve been watching nail videos for the past week because with all the chaos going on I would like to learn how to do my own. This video is by far the best! Great explanation of everything !

I am so grateful for these videos! There are so many gaps in my education that now that i am licensed there is so much I don't know! You and the other veterans in my salon have really helped me improve my skills, acquire new ones, and definitely helped my confidence. This first year has really been about growth.
