I prefer to use the salvaged shelf to put electric furnaces on. 1 shelf could fit 6 furnaces, and you save on space a bit
Then you add an electric splitter for each level of the shelf, so 2 splitters, 2 branches (each branch out 10 = 3funace+splitter), and then you could use the second splitter output for the conveyors.

I have been doing this for several wipes and what a time saver! Just dump your ore and go! Another great video!

you can achieve the same goal without splitter and with one conveyor less, just need to adjust filters in a different way: Furnace -> chest 1 -> conv/filter to chest 2 -> chest 2 -> conv/filter to chest 3 -> chest 3. Nicely made video, very clear.

This is a nice and simple tutorial setup, but I've got experience in electricity now, so In have a better suggestion.
- First, if you're using electric furnaces, you might as well use a medium battery because you've techtree'd through it already
- Second, if you're aiming for a large setup, begin to techtree into wind turbines, because I begin to find solar quite inreliable due to the equational. Idk if it's bad weather or the batteries don't charge up fast enough.
Third, every component uses 1 power, do putting multiple branches are wasting energy. Instead, I would recommend to use splitters for a large setup. It will save you a lot of energy in the long run.

also you can use igniter to turn on any wood based furnace and a sprinkler to turn them off if needed

First time using electric furnaces and the auto system (recently moved from Rust Console Edition to the proper PC version) and this worked a treat, took me about 10mins first attempt. Excellent guide, thanks Jfarr!

This is literally the video I’ve been waiting for. I’ve started tinkering with the industrial items but I wasn’t quite sure how exactly to do this

The following config will save you 1 power / 3 furnaces:

1 e-branch -> branch 10 power -> 1 splitter -> 3 e-furnaces. Use the power out on the e-branch to add the next 3 e-furnaces.

I'm amazed you only have 82.7K subscribers Jfarr! Your videos are fantastic, insightful, well-produced, descriptive, extremely helpful, and very well explained for those who need to learn from the basics (like me). Couldn't recommend a better youtuber for these types of videos! Keep up the great work man, I'm pretty new to Rust but I know I will progress very nicely so long as I stick to following your guides! Grateful you're here! 🤓 ❤
