The Three Gorges Dam is perfect!

It helps Taiwan(ROC) get a "nuclear" option without nuclear weapons.
They just need to get the ability to at least have a reasonable threat to destroy the dam if the CRP starts a bigger missile and air attack on the island. The damage from destroying the dam would be bigger than even the biggest nuclear ICBM's hitting a megacity.
Even if the chance of Taiwan destroying the dam, by the PRC is estimated to be around 5%, it would probably be a too big risk to take for them.

So love the dam almost as much as I hate the CCP, PRC, PLA, PLAN, PLAAF, and Xi the Pooh especially!
