Aside from the project itself (which is incredible), footage of this machinery being lifted around, and working on slopes, more looks like children playing on a truckload of sand in the backyard - thinking of how it looks in actual size. This is amazing, the volume of that cave, cliffs, the workers' skill, bravery (I must say), and the engineers' planning and project. Respect.

hi friends, let me clarify as a Turk, 200 billion dollars were not spent on just one dam, but many dams were built within the scope of the GAP project, yusufeli dam is one of the dams in this project.
Also, as an additional information, 25% of Turkey's electricity needs are produced by hydroelectric power plants.
