Electron structure is an important and relatively difficult topic in Module 2 of the A-Level Chemistry specification. In this revision video, I walk through the key concepts and definitions needed to master this topic including the arrangement of electrons in atoms (orbitals, sub-shells, and shells), electron configurations, and some exam questions to help students apply the information from the specification.
