To be successful we need a mixture of competence and charisma.
To be charismatic:(trustable +reliable)
1. Not standing too close to someone.
2.Use your hands to express your words (not jazz hands)
3. Gift people success words
4. Point out similarities between you and the person
5. Don’t do up talk. (Important how you say words not just what you say)

It helps to be feeling good about yourself - and life. I never feel vulnerable socially because I love life and people from all walks of life. I don’t “separate” myself from others. I enjoy meeting strangers because I don’t see anyone as a stranger. I believe that we are all One, from every place, culture, race, religion and every walk of life. Everyone is my friend until they prove otherwise and if they aren’t I might feel sad or down for a few moments but then quickly accept it and walk away. Also: humor is your best friend in making friends and connecting with others. Yes, warmth and confidence - and giving.

I love that she is generous with acknowledgments, gives credit where it’s due, and appreciates the work people do to support her presentations

This talk held me until the very end. Every sentence mattered. Grateful for this. I especially learned how to be authentic with someone toxic in the work place.

I never comment... I just came to say THIS LADY IS AWESOME. Like wow! I learned a TON and I 100% agree with EVERYTHING she said! That does NOT happen often. Very grateful for her sharing her wisdom and virtues with us

As a teacher, when I started watching you here, right away I thought “smart man!” Asking great questions to his guests…the right questions, questions I would ask, questions that make sense…bringing awareness and clarification to your audience. Thank you Lewis…YOU ARE GREATNESS!!!☀️📚💕☀️

Once I became more comfortable in my own skin and started living for me the easier it is is to engage others. I was watching this and thinking, I haven't experienced social rejection in the longest. Probably because I surround myself with others that care about self-love, self-development and are focused on being their best version. When I was blaming the world for my problems and being self-absorbed, i did experience many of the social rejection cues she mentioned.
