Hey Gabriel i want to express my gratitude for these precious tutorials you generously offered here in Youtube. They are such a rare value to find online. I'm managing to understand something i always loved to learn like vfx for videogames, and you make it look so easy! I'm using Unity 2022.3.12f1 and the only thing not working that i noticed so far is lights applied to particles. They are simply not visible by following your instructions. Could this be related to a different managing of lights with the recent versions of Unity? EDIT: the light shows up actually but it's completely out of center and doesn't react like it shows in your videos.

you should create power of 2 texture sizes, that's optimized for GPUs 2000 -> 2048

Hmm... For some reason, my outer glow isn't working. The lines instead become bold.
It's solved now. The 2018 update automatically creates a new material folder including a new material itself when I drag the PNG image to the GameObject. Change the shader there instead. Also better to change to Additive Soft for better results.

I really liked the way you teach concepts.

I have been trying to learn myself how to develop a game in Unity but without help its a really difficult task.

Would you be available to be hired to record videos teaching me how to create the rpg game I want to make?! (Its a very similar style to Diablo 2 but 3d). I have a document describing the mechanics of it, and you could ask me if you have any doubts.

hello i found your channel and want to learn but in 1:51 i dont see in my unity option particles-additive...its bcs i have the newest version of unity? in particles i have only standart surface and standart unlit

I don't know why, but my particle system seems to be really small (compared to the defualt capsule). Anyone know how to fix that?

How to make it project on the superfices? If my terrain is irregular some parts desapear inside the terrain or objects!

i have a problem, when i rotate the particle system it does not rotate according to the parent object because of the horizontal billboard i guess. please tell me how to make this particle effect local to a object and display this effect with the orientation of the parent object rotation
