Terrible addiction inducing psychodelic videos. How are they online still, it's beyond me. Watching that "wheels on the buss" acid video made me furious. 50 million views?! No comments allowed, so the video endures and it's evil is poisoning our children. How do we fight them?!?

Based on how I have heard how kids can act differently after watching Caillou and the latter (Cocomelon), I can sum these up in different histories based on controversy:
Caillou: Early 2000's - Kids would throw tantrums and start crying fits like the title character and get moody when they can't get what they want.
Cocomelon: Early 2020's - Kids would throw tantrums and fits whenever they are to watch something that is not Cocomelon with their parents like SpongeBob, Animaniacs, Looney Tunes, Thomas the Tank Engine, Bob the Builder, or even a Disney movie of all things.

Raising kids on Cocomelon would be an inferno for me personally. Cocomelon is popular, but only for the wrong reasons, or even the worst case scenario reasons. As I am someone in the autism spectrum myself, I don't think Cocomelon would be a thing I would personally raise my kids on, if at all. If anything, the idea of imitating ADHD and autism sounds like an ableist metaphor and a very bad influence on kids that don't have the spectrum or disorders themselves.

this needs to be talked about more, I have adhd and it can be a real pain when it comes to learning things, and especially hard to deal with if the thing I am learning about isn't interesting to me, and when you were listing the side effects of a child becoming addicted to coccomelon, I was thinking "that sounds pretty familiar." this is a serious problem because I wouldn't want people to have adhd because it can be such a pain, but shows like these are either knowingly or unknowingly negatively impacting the next generation for the sake of profit.
