In Matthew 15:11, Jesus said, "Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man." Many Christians interpret this to mean that Jesus abolished unclean meats and Christians can now eat whatever they want. But if you read Matthew 15 in context, that's not what it says at all! The context here isn't about food at all, its about what's in a man's heart.

For my entire childhood, I have been defiled by the things that came out of my mouth, and now I'm paying the price for it in the form of depression. I am done with all of this sin that became my way of life. No more pride, hatred, or adultery for me.

The Great Apostasy

"Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,  speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,  forbidding to marry,  and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer." 1 Timothy 4:1-5

We need to rightly divide the Word.

1 Corinth 6:13… meat is for the belly, and the belly for the meats. As long as you ask the Lord to bless it, we can eat whatever we want. 1 Tim 4:4-5 For everything created by God is good And nothing is to be rejected if it is Received with thanks giving For it is made holy by the word of God and prayer! Read the Bible for yourselves people and stop listening to these false prophets who ran and were not sent. Jer. 23:21

Yes that's absolutely right he also said that he did not come to change or abolish any of his father's law but to fulfill them so eating unclean meat is still in play wishing everybody a happy sabbath coming up and a blessed year

So much for needing Jesus as our Saviour when apparently we have to do so much more than have just Faith in what He did for us on the cross.

You Know what i hate about our western civilization
We don't even Know how our food is processed we go to the shop pick our food but don't Know what they did with it. Also we are dependend of the shop we can not survive without it. If something happens 95 procent of the world don't Know how to survive

I’ve never heard anyone address this. Thank you. Jesus also said, “I did not come to change. I came to fulfill.”

Acts 10:28. Is the abolishing of unclean meat giving Peter a dream about all kind of animals. God said I created all creatures eat what is given you. Look it up.

Isaiah 66:17 Those who consecrate and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following one who is among those who eat the flesh of pigs, rats and other unclean things—they will meet their end together with the one they follow, ” declares the LORD God blessed all your soul.. happy Sabbath everyone..

People would rather reconstruct what the Bible says so that they can do what they want, rather than accept what God clearly said. I feel sorry for those who don't want to be obedient, so they make the Bible mean what's convenient for them. The same is true about the 4th Commandment. The Sabbath is valid, even the Roman Catholic church, who originally instituted Sunday worship, admits there is no scriptural backing for ignoring God's d.ay of rest. Study people, the truth is there for all to find.

Woe to those who call good evil. Why would people bash Christian’s who choose only clean meats? When you fast, does your brother curse you for doing so? When you obey the Ten Commandments, does your brother call you evil for doing so?

Did Paul not admonish us to be kind to one another on these matters? Yeah, but today’s Christians are so full of pride they’ll readily blaspheme their brother with curses in spite of the command of Jesus telling us to love one another.

Read your bible, folks!

Did god also not tell Peter do not call what I have created unclean? Did Jesus also not say in the book of Mark to the Pharisees that they hold traditions of man in higher regard than the word of god? If there was such thing as “unclean” meats Jesus would have said so. But if someone chooses not to eat certain meats then that’s ok, but in the same regard nothing bad will happen if you do. God bless y’all.

St. Peter received a vision about many unclean animals and he was told to eat them, yes this was for him to go and visit gentiles however God used a double meaning, showing that meats are now clean

For it doesn’t go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.)

You're correct on the context, but the verse covers all food. Some counter that Jews dont consider unclean food to be food. But if we go to the strongs we see that food means both clean and unclean to the Jews.

Since unclean hands can be purified by the stomach, so can unclean foods.
