Many people believe that Jesus abolished the biblical dietary laws based on a misunderstanding of Mark 7:19. What did He actually say and what are the implications for Christians today?

What about when he died on the cross for everybody's sins? Did that include abolishing the Leviticus diet?

Thanks a lot, but hen was Mark wrong? Wrong translations? *I think* we as Christians base our consumption of pork etc. on Mark 7:19... If Christ didn't abolish a single letter of the Law then why are we not following Him on this regard?

The Greek can be interpreted in two ways, either as the KJV/NKJV do or as the NASB/ESV/LSB do. I am no scholar and my Greek is not very good, but I think, that "καθαριζων παντα τα βρωματα" would be a very weird way to say, that Jesus declared all foods clean.

Jesus did not consider pork food. He actually filled 2000 with demons and did not care to let them die, yet when he fed the 5000 He cared for the left overs to not go to waste and recovered 12 baskets. Think a little but read a little more.

You misrepresented Paul. Your interpretation is not in harmony with Paul in Romans 14:3 and 1 Timothy 4:4. Furthermore, Jesus reminds Peter again about animals being made clean in Acts 10.

Impressive. If i am not wrong you are explaining it deep because of the time of Jesus and the way Jesus was walking and eating between people. He never went out of Law or anything else related to gentiles . Food was present there was also clean He was only answering that inside cleaning is as much as important as people follow to show off outside cleaning of being good but it has nothing to do with the instructions of eating suggestions given by Jesus and Paul only helped gentiles first to come Jesus and overcome from unhealthy things eating or living.
