Once again, they answer in-depth the questions we never thought to ask. Great work!

The true question here is: The remains of Mars hitting Earth would count as "invaders from Mars"?

One thing I noticed repeatedly was you only really looked at what would happen if Mars blew up while it's next to us. If Mars were as far as the other side of the Sun that would shift the scenario closer to probably nothing happening in the short term at least. If Mars was constantly next to the Earth then I could see these scenarios playing out.

So already have a run simulation on this topic before watching the video. Using Universe Sandbox and various other (as official as they can be) space simulators.

I'm personally no expert on astronomy, but I do love to dive into these topics and test them out myself. But from what I managed to gather, having exploded mars in 15 different simulations and watched the Solar System transform over the course of a thousand years using model predictions.

The worst-case scenario was a few shards of Mars rock crashing into Earth and heating it up by a single degree for 2 years. Which in further simulations could prove fatal to us and the planet. But in each and every single simulation that I performed Earth and ourselves survived (along with the other planets) the only main difference was without Mars' gravity Earth's orbit around the sun was a bit more wobbled and ironically pushed it FURTHER from the sun lowering the average temperature by a single degree.
Also don't believe that Earth has enough velocity or momentum to tear itself away from the Sun's influence just because Mars is no longer tugging on it. Seems like a bit of a stretch for dramatic flair if you ask me.

All the other planets pretty much were unaffected, where I believed Jupiter or Saturn's Gravity might cause some issues after a few hundred years of no Mars, but nope....nothing extreme took place at all.

Now keeping in mind, I only did 15 simulations over the course of 1, 000 years. Along with these simulations lacking in 101% pure physics, they can't account for everything, but given enough time, and given enough chances any single event can send ripple effects for millennia to come. Who knows what it would look like after 10, 000 or even 1, 000, 000 years. I think it's an interesting topic and I can't wait to see if the Infographic's predictions come close to my simulations. **Presses play**

Mars: _suddenly explodes._

Earth: “Such a shame, but I still prefer Milky Way.”

Our delicate balance which sustains life on Earth relies on so many factors that it is truly frightening. What are we in the grand nature of the universe but a speck, a flash in the pan. 100 years seemingly long to us is but a tick of the secondhand of the clock of the universe. One day, all this will be gone so thank the mighty universe for this experience because once we leave we can never come back.

4 in the morning here on the East Coast, and I just woke up having after having a flashback while asleep (PTSD) and infographics is the only thing that can ever help me sleep or get back to sleep. The narrator's voice is not only incredibly soothing, but I love to learn and it's just relaxing to me. I hope and pray I'm about to get some decent sleep now. Thanks infographics and team, you don't even know how much you're out here impacting lives. Salute to y'all.

I love how "the locomotion" became Infographics #1 dance move xD

The thing is: Mars is really important, more than we think!

If Mars exploded all of the debris would still be there with the same gravitational pull. It would have to be an extremely violent explosion to through large chunks out of Mars orbit. If Mars just fell apart nothing would really happen.
