The last flip melted the Antarctic ice cap; thus, The Flood.
When the axis and the ECLIPTIC PLANE become parallel, the Arctic ice cap will melt completely; it's melting slowly, now, as the axis tilts.
Piri Reis' map shows the iceless land mass of the Antarctic, from the last flip, which is said to have occurred between 17, 000 and 12, 000 years ago.
There is, actually, nothing that can be done.

Actually, according to magnetic signatures in the steens mountain lava flows, the last magnetic pole shift occurred just 12, 000 years ago and only took hours, not centuries. The intensity of the strain on the earths crust was apparently what caused the crustal ruptures in the Pacific NW leading to the hundreds of square miles of lava flows that coat the area.
