Well done with the PR. The good news is you got that more through brute strength so there’s a load more easy kilos in the tank. You’re actively lifting your feet up after contact which means you can’t fully commit to full extension. Try and stay on your feet as long as you can and you’ll receive the bar that little bit higher in the catch. Keep it up!!

You have to drop the weight once it gets to significant to you personally, if not your risking injury and sport is lifting the weight up not putting a heavy weight down with control…

Practice 'no foot' power cleans, youre lacking full extension during the 2nd pull which is resulting in zero power generation and all pulling of the arms. Weightlifters are not jumping but moreso they remove their feet for the purpose of getting under the bar faster when it is traveling upwards. Generally the 2nd pull is coached as a "jump" for the purpose of the correct pressing motion during the 2nd pull as you will automatically push through your whole foot, knees, and hips in an upward motion resulting in the bar maintaining its upward velocity. When youve reached full extension, you THEN use your arms to pull up and back, beginning the 3rd pull, keeping the bar close, and at this point, you can choose to lift/remove/slide your feet for the purpose of getting underneath the bar sooner. This generally results in your ending foot width being wider than your starting foot width.
