The ENTIRE downfall of DKOldies...

It's crazy how this entire saga happened... I purchased a refurbished console from dkoldies back in December 2022, realized they weren't actually refurbishing anything, and then it just snowballed from there. The entire saga likely would have ended after a couple more videos... but then they kept responding and doubling down on claims that they do indeed refurbish consoles! It was a wild ride, but it's over for now (unless they decide to do something else crazy). Maybe I'll purchase from them once a year to see if they've made changes. Let me know what you think!

I can't believe someone had the nevve to sit there and say "You're getting what you're paying for." when you are getting third-party controller that comes with a fat PS3 bundle that you spent over $400 for. If I spend that much for a PS3 bundle, I expect to get an official dualshock 3 controller with my purchase.

If I could offer a piece of advice, if anyone here is looking to start a retro game collection, the best (and most fun) way is to set aside a weekend where you and some friends hit up the flea markets and swap meets and find them in the wild.

I was a game store in tokyo not too long ago and I was shocked to see joey from dkoldies there. We got to talking and he really hit it off. He invited me to his hotel for a party. It was really popping. I was looking for the bathroom but i must of opened the wrong door because I saw Joey dressed in samurai costume making love to a very overweight gentleman tied up with a Nintendo 64 controller covered in baby oil.
