I've made up a great pair of pickle brines (finally) and started with just cucumbers but now include carrots and the Korean radish. good.

Hii, just out of curiosity, why do we have to strain the liquid and add it back later? Would the results be the same if we left the radishes with the liquid? ❤️❤️

Low labor but go find this radish 😂 it’s hard to come by in the south where there’s not much diversity in terms of Asian cuisine veggies

can i use rice vinegar? 😔 i cant stand regular vinegar but dont mind seasoned/sweet rice vinegar. or does it not matter? just trying to try new ways to enjoy vegetables- as someone who grew up hating pickled veggies

Everyone does not live in a city with International grocery stores! Korean Radish is unavailable for most of us :( Please give recipe alternates for regular grocery stores!
