During Operation Rolling Thunder, the U.S. ramped up its involvement in the Vietnam War. Starting in 1965, they launched massive bombing campaigns against North Vietnam. The goal was to weaken their war effort. Originally planned to last a few months but went on for years! The North's resolve didn't break despite all the bombs. The war just kept escalating.

As a Vietnamese person, I really hate the Vietnam War. It makes us suffer, millions of people died for no reason, and our country was ruined from the South to the North with B52 bombs and other stuff like that. But now, in peace, I am glad to see everyone having the right way of looking at the war, and I congratulate you for making an animated series that shows how bad the war is. I appreciate how you actually respect Vietnam's history!

Somethings that this video might not feature:
1. Some people here might think that their are not only American soldiers fighting in the war. There're even Korean, Japanese, Thai and Austrailian soldiers too :(
2. During the war, Richard Nickson, Henry Kisagi and Jonhson had some of our dogs named after them like Mic, Kiki, ... They were named that because they caused us misery and pain :)
3. America said they would bring us back to the stone age with their B52 but they brought us straight to the aluminum age with great aluminum pots and combs made from Hanoi's sky 😹
4. The My Lai massacre 😞

MrSpherical, I kindly request that unlike other Youtube videos on the Vietnam War, PLEASE include the Spring Offensive of 1972 and the Battle of Xuan Loc in the next episodes. Please dont skip the time America pulled out of Vietnam and say South Vietnam fell without a fight and just go to the end. Thank you and this video was good.

For those who ask why American country ball carries AKs: US GIs were unsatisfied with the M16 rifles that jammed a lot and could not work under all conditions. So they swapped it with AKs instead which were more reliable
