Why do people worry so much about if Pluto is a planet or a dwarfplanet? It's just a classification. I don't see why it's "bad" not to be a planet. It's just a name humans give to a collection ice and rocks.

I agree with the definition of Pluto and Charon being binary planets.  They revolve around each other.  There are other Kepler Belt objects that are like Pluto, I wonder just how many planets still out there.  Since it is consider a dwarf planet, it is still a planet. Thus it should be still considered part of our Solar System. In fact the entire Kepler Belt is remnants of our Solar System much like the Asteroid Belt is. I think it should still be considered part of the Solar System as well as all the other Kepler belt objects are.

Pluto is the last planet from the Sun of our solar system. It is not a so called "dwarf". It is the planet that leads us into the Kuiper Belt of an interstellar medium of our milky way galaxy. So, I consider Pluto to be a very significant planet of our solar system; and I like its name.

Pluto hasn’t cleared out it’s orbital pathway around the sun. It hasn’t “cleared the neighborhood” which is why it is not classified as a planet. Just learned this in science today lol. The more you know!

Pluto is closer to earths size than to Jupiter's size so maybe Jupiter shouldn't be a planet. Either that or Earth shouldn't be a planet because it's too small compared to others.
